December Update (Fixes and more content)

Howdy All,

I have created a road map that goes out for the next two months about what changes I’ll be working on for Reclaim Briarwood. If you have anything you would like changed that’s not on the roadmap, please let me know. Looking forward, I believe the biggest issue for me will be art and music. It’s a little trickier than I thought to find a good consistent art style for the whole game, but I’ll keep working on it and slowly but surely, I'll get it to look how I want

Last month, as I was working, I was keeping track of all the changes I did and the list looked a lot more impressive in Trello before I transcribed it here. I will try and do a better job of organizing and categorizing in the future. Anyway, here are the changes for the December release.

-Fixed lots and lots of bugs (Created by me 😊)

-A bunch of changes to text and UI that should make things easier to understand (Fingers Crossed)

-Fighter abilities now show their actual numbers, instead of unspecific values.

-Can now reroll and get new fighter options in the reward screen

-Choosing a path looks slightly prettier

-Added two more Act I Bosses (Deadeye Duncan & Beefy Bruno)

-Added 5 more leaders (One for each animal)

-Can now switch between full screen and windowed

-Fixed multiple issues with the settings menu (I think there are still more)

-Changed enemy scaling to make them a little harder

-Added additional fighter details to reward screen, now you can know about fighters before you choose them

-Race/Class bonuses are sorted properly instead of randomly

-Reworked gold gains and losses (should feel fairer now)

-Added 6 new events (Still need to make visibility on them better)

-Added visibility to projectile attacks

-Improved title menu (Will change the Title card again at some point in the future)

One final note if you’re still reading this, I still don’t know what I’m doing. I’m just trying my best to make a game that is fun and a little bit silly. I appreciate you all for reading this far and for being invested in my journey. Thanks!
